I%26#039;m just wondering, If a credit card componey raises your credit limit is that a hit agents your credit, will it make my credit score worss? I%26#039;ve heard haveing too much credit can be bad, so i dont want to have sucha high limit and then not get credit later when i want to buy a house or get more credit, can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Credit cards and Credit-Canadians?

If your credit company raises your credit it shows raising your creditworthiness and it%26#039;s very good sign. %26quot;I%26#039;ve heard having too much credit can be bad%26quot; - too much means really too much, if you have 8 credit cards it is a bit too much. But if you have 2 and going to apply for next one it%26#039;s not a problem.

The worst thing that you can do - don%26#039;t pay your bills on time! One late payment can damage your credit score. Besides, check your monthly statements. If you have been using you card for a long time (and pay your bills on time) you can call up your company and ask for lower rates.
