yes it is safe providing you follow the rules.have

good virus and spyware(1 in realtime) and update

them often as well as windows.never give any sensitive info unless you see HTTPS at start of address, also gold padlock should be shown at

end of address in IE7 or bottom right on taskbar

in IE6.if you are still unsure click the padlock and

click view certificates then certification path and

should come up %26quot;this cert..is ok. if you follow the above advice you should have no problem.you can practice this by signing out of yahoo and signing in again to see how it works, before you go on your shopping spree.hope this helps

Well, I guess it depends on what are you using your credit card for. If its amazon or somthing your most likey gonna be safe. But off course there all people out there who can get you CC number somehow, I wouldn%26#039;t say its a 100% safe.

I used my cc cards a couple of times with my last pc and yes,i did receive a few bills on things i had not purchased and they were made over the net,i had a horrible time,i had to call and make a police report, call my credit report agency and etc..,it actually hurt me,to think that someone violated me,but rest assured, everything turned out alright in the end.My credit card company paid the bill and went after the violator(however they do it).
